ENGINEERING BEYOND THE DRAWING
Marine House provides comprehensive marine engineering services for newbuild, retrofit, conversion, commercial, government and authorized defence projects.
We combine engineering analysis with practical shipbuilding, installation, inspection, testing and operational experience. Every system is developed for safety, efficiency, maintainability, class compliance and the vessel’s intended mission.
Our multidisciplinary team supports shipowners, shipyards and public-sector organizations throughout the complete project lifecycle.
CORE CAPABILITIES
Connected disciplines reduce interface risk and ensure the vessel performs as one system.
Engine, gearbox, shaft line, propeller, thruster and control-system matching.
Engine-room layout, auxiliary machinery, ventilation, exhaust and maintenance access.
Fuel, cooling, bilge, ballast, fire, hydraulic, compressed-air and domestic systems.
Load analysis, generation, distribution, control, navigation and emergency systems.
Alarm, control, power management and equipment-interface coordination.
Space, weight, power, cooling, cabling, control and structural interfaces.
Shipyard coordination, design clarification, inspection and commissioning assistance.
Harbour trials, sea trials, performance review and final technical close-out.
PROPULSION SYSTEM ENGINEERING
We design propulsion systems around speed, endurance, bollard pull, payload, draft, manoeuvrability and operating profile. Engine power alone does not determine performance—the complete chain must work together.
REDESIGN & RE-ENGINEERING
For vessels with inadequate speed, high fuel consumption, vibration, machinery failure or a changed operating mission.
Engine and gearbox replacement, foundation modification, engine-room rearrangement and supporting-system review.
Diameter, pitch, blade area, shaft speed, cavitation, clearance and propulsion matching.
Shafting, bearings, alignment, coupling and structural-interface reassessment.
Fuel, cooling, exhaust, ventilation, electrical and control modifications for new machinery.
Speed, thrust, fuel use, operating load, vibration and reliability assessment.
Stability, structure, class, flag and statutory documentation following modification.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
We coordinate equipment and interfaces so propulsion, power, automation, navigation, safety and mission systems operate as one platform.
AUTHORIZED DEFENCE PROJECTS
For authorized government and defence projects, Marine House provides naval-platform engineering for the safe and coordinated integration of approved mission equipment and defence-related systems.
Our role focuses on platform interfaces and engineering coordination in collaboration with the relevant authority, shipyard, approved supplier and original equipment manufacturer, subject to applicable security, export-control and regulatory requirements.
INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION
We collaborate with naval architects, engineering specialists, shipyards, technology providers and equipment manufacturers from established maritime nations.
OUR ENGINEERING APPROACH
Every system begins with the actual operating requirement.
Propulsion, machinery, piping, electrical and structure developed together.
Design reflects production, installation, access and maintenance.
Solutions judged by safety, performance, compatibility and lifecycle value.
Support continues through trials, commissioning and delivery.
