OUR SPECIALIZATION
Marine House has developed distinctive expertise in shallow-draft vessels for rivers, restricted waterways and low-draft ports. We optimize draft, cargo capacity, stability, propulsion efficiency, manoeuvrability and structural weight as one connected design problem.
Our ambition is to establish Marine House as a global leader in shallow-water vessel design—combining Bangladesh’s demanding operating experience with international engineering standards.
OUR MARITIME CONTEXT
BAY OF BENGALBangladesh is a South Asian country on the northern littoral of the Bay of Bengal, with a coastline of approximately 710 kilometres. It is also a deeply riverine nation, with almost 230 rivers flowing through one of the world’s most extensive waterway networks. Ships and boats have therefore played a significant role in the country’s trade, mobility and economic life since ancient times.
Marine House has become a distinctive name in Bangladesh’s ship-design sector, with a successful record across a wide range of vessel types since its establishment in 2007. As one of the country’s pioneering designers of international-class vessels, the company combines innovation, technical knowledge, training and disciplined engineering to deliver safe, stable and economical designs.
Our experienced professionals work to meet owners’ operational requirements and classification-society rules. Modern engineering software supports accurate analysis, coordinated design and consistent quality as vessel technology and regulatory expectations continue to evolve.
Alongside vessel design, Marine House maintains relationships with reputed marine companies in Bangladesh and internationally, enabling access to extensive machinery, equipment and material-supply packages. This integrated capability positions Marine House as a one-stop technical partner for shipowners and shipyards.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Our work extends beyond Bangladesh through project supervision, technical coordination and collaboration with designers, shipyards, equipment manufacturers and maritime partners.
OUR APPROACH
Every successful vessel begins with a clear understanding of its mission and a trusted relationship with its owner.
We listen carefully, place the client’s operational and commercial objectives at the centre and remain closely engaged throughout the project.
Our advice is transparent, independent and based on safety, engineering merit, compliance and lifecycle value.
We optimize hull, structure, propulsion and systems to achieve required performance without unnecessary cost or complexity.
Route, water depth, draft, cargo, speed, endurance, crew, maintainability and port limits shape every design.
Naval architecture, engineering, approval, supplier coordination and construction supervision work as one connected process.
We combine Bangladesh’s maritime knowledge with international technology, engineering practice and professional partnerships.
